This was the second project for ID 101, Introduction to Interior Design.

For this project, we were asked to redesign an existing kitchen. We were asked to select a particular style and to define that selection. We were to use NKBA guidelines regarding kitchen layout, and to remain within the confines of the existing home. An adjacent mudroom could be incorporated into the design, as well as the adjoining dining room.

The requirements for this project were:

• Floor plan with color rendering at ½" scale
• An isometric drawing with color rendering
• One or more elevations at ½" scale with color rendering
• Samples and/or pictures of product selection on a presentation board
